Simulated Medical Skill Centre

Presently clinical teaching has shifted from the hospital wards to the simulated skill centre worldwide for the beginners. After acquiring an essential initial hand on training in a simulated skill lab the medical students shift their clinical training onto the clinical wards for further improvement of their skills. In order to ensure quality assurance Popular Medical College has established its own Simulated Medical Skill Centre in a designated separate area for initial training of the clinical students. Basic clinical skills in medicine & allied, surgery & allied and Obstetrics & Gynaecology have been identified, simulation materials have been procured and basic skills program have been started. TOT programs, regular training program for interns and clinical students are going on.
